As the end of summer approaches we are beginning to see trends changing and new colours coming out for fall of 2010. At Stix and Stones we try and be up to date with the latest fashions and styles in the world of knitting. We have been working very hard on changing the store around as well as putting together kits that include the yarn and pattern for sweaters, scarves, hats and all the essentials for fall!
Cozy cowls, silk scarves, cashmere hats and warm fingerless gloves are just a few things among the many accessories you will find at Stix and Stones and are perfect for the beginner knitter or as gifts. You don't know how to knit? Call us to sign up for our beginner knitting class which is one night a week for four weeks and teaches you everything you need to know about learning to knit and putting different stitches together!
After learning the basics, you will be able to sign up for our project knitting class which runs every Thursday night from 5:30 to 7:30. Our project class provides you with as much guidance as you need to complete any project at any skill level and is also a great way to meet new people of all ages and skill levels and interact with others that share the same interests and creativity as you do. We will also have a whole new schedule for specialty classes starting in September and when you are signed up for a class you receive a 10% discount on yarn!
