Has it been a while since your last dental cleaning? Did you know that in Ontario you can choose to see an independently practicing dental hygienist?
Brilliance Dental Hygiene and Whitening is an independent dental hygiene clinic owned and operated by Anne-Marie Nadeau, a registered dental hygienist with over 15 years clinical experience. Anne-Marie welcomes all new and existing clients to make an appointment for a one hour long thorough dental cleaning which will include a complete oral and periodontal assessment as well as a polish. If you have dentures they will also be cleaned at this appointment at no extra charge. A customized treatment plan will optimize not only your oral health but your overall health.
Brilliance Dental Hygiene offers dental cleanings, Night White and Zoom Whitening as well as athletic mouth guards. You will also enjoy a free power tooth brush at your fifth cleaning appointment. Evening and Saturday appointments, referral incentives as well as a seniors rate for those aged 65 or older are available.
Anne-Marie would like to share an oral care tip of the month: Healthy gums should not bleed.
If you are experiencing bleeding when you brush that is usually an indication that flossing is needed. If you experience bleeding when flossing then that is usually an indication to floss more often. If you are flossing every day and still having some bleeding then you may not be flossing correctly. I will be more than happy to review your technique at your next appointment.
